In a cumilative frequency distribution, the last class will have a cumulative frency frequency equal to sum of all the classes that are below it.
In frequency, we add the no. of values of each class that comes under that class. But in cumulative frequency, we add the vlaues of that class including the values of classes that are before that.
Basically, we are adding all the values before that are class including that value of class.
It is opposite to frequency.
It is used in statistics for graph formation. With cumulative frequency, formation of graph is easy because at every step we know the exact value of class or information without any requirement of mathematical tool.
