The equation of the line perpendicular to line ax+by+c=0

and passing through (a,\ b)

The given equation is ax+by+c=0
Therefore the slope of given equation is -a/b

since required line is perpendicular to given line,
the slope of required line is b/a

since the lines are passing through the the points (a,b)
by using slope point form,
(y-b) = (b/a)*(x-a)
a(y-b) = b(x-a)
ay-ab = bx-ab
ay = bx .........(both sides ab get cancell)

ie. bx-ay=0 this is required equation of line
Therefore option no. A) is correct.
