A journal report indicates that greenhouse gases, such as methane and carbon dioxide, are primarily responsible for the phenomenon of global warming. The report concludes that the greenhouse effect is detrimental to all life on Earth. Why is the conclusion biased?

Greenhouse gases are also a natural part of the Earth's atmosphere and some amount is required for life on Earth. They trap some of the heat inside the atmosphere. Without it, the Earth and the lower part of the atmosphere would be much colder than it is.
